A proposal should be in the pipeline approximately 8-10 weeks prior to the Academic Affairs Committee meeting. The timeline allows for consultation with the appropriate groups (Graduate Board, EPPC, Office of Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs) and revisions to the original proposal. Preliminary proposals should be prepared using the guidelines and forms available on the Office of the Provost website at http://www.temple.edu/provost/policies/index.htm, section on “Establishing, Restructuring or Terminating Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Academic Programs and Courses (Policy 02.60.01).”
